ST:NC with bigger font
Really appreciate the good work you put into this amazing Star Trek mod.

Since my eyes get older, the small text is a bit inconvenient to read. It doesn't get better while sitting too close to the screen either. So I tried UI Overhaul Dynamic + Improved Text, but only got CTD on galaxy creation.

Found BiggerText redux but the modders seem to have abandoned it before making it compatible to ST:NC.

As we all grow older and/or some may have bad eyesight, would it be keen to ask for a submod to get bigger fonts and textboxes?

Or is there already a mod that would be compatible for that? Didn't find any mentioning here.

Doing a test with Font Size Improvement, which works if it is placed AFTER ST:NC in the mod load order. Unfortunately the mod isn't updated and on certain occasions the game freezes and CTD without warning.

Why not use the default UI scaling options?

Thx for the fast response. Well, I'm already scaling, but that doesn't help me reading small text passages in story driven popups. In most cases, scaling only raises the UI/window frames instead of the fonts to a seize to be helpful.

Hmm, I'm not sure I can really do anything my end without affecting things for everyone. But that said, I use scaling myself (in-game of 1.6x) and I was sure it was affecting font size too.

I'm on 1.4x as I thought 40% more would be sufficient. Will give 1.6x a try, but I guess it is still the blury font, while my screen get's overcrowded with bigger status windows. The mentioned Font Size Improvement will help out with better readable text in the event popups.

For sure I do not ask for a total adoption, but probably you may think about a compatibility patch. I'm not sure if the other modders will take care about, nevertheless I asked about too.
