What is a "subject tier" and how do you see the progress? Do inhabited systems actually flip? I tried trading but they had -1000 desire.
I couldn't get them to relinquish any occupied systems either. I did a speed run for about 10-12 years after the UFP founding and the empires simple sat in their original form with the UFP never being able to annex any additional systems. Disappointing, as one of the entire points of forming the federation is to combine the powers into one large stellar empire.
As those levels increase - at a rate aligned to their loyalty value - they reach new tiers and provide new bonuses.
I see it now, I take back all of the bad things i said behind your back. They do completely integrate, it takes about 15 years of game time it looks like. There is canon basis for this also, as there has been a few books written where the Andorian Empire survived as a political entity within the UFP and at one point actually withdrew and became its own nation again.
One issue which a lot of people have brought up is the near impossibility to get the UFP to form with all four members, Earth, Vulcan, Tellar, and Andor. There is always a rivalry between at least one of the factions and there doesn't appear to be a way to get them to end it, as in the Babel Conference event over at the other mod. For my speed run game, it was not until the early 2200s that Vulcan agreed to form a new alliance and begin Federation talks.
Anyway, glad the integration actually happens with the UFP members. That would have absolutely been a show stopper.
Or just let them keep their systems, even if they increased in tier?
I'd rather have them (or at least some of them) keep some territory.
You know, so I could have an actually federated Federation.
No, its not possible to stop the integration, although it takes a VERY long time. That too is based in canon, and there's been a lot written about how brand new Federation members have to undergo a pretty extensive integration period to shut down their own militaries, integrate their economies, select a Federation Councillor, and only then do they become full fledged UFP members.
