just tested, op is correct undine currently are missing the option to colonize their own reefs. they cant build colony ships. also reefs seem to be limited to one per system??? despite being no larger or better than basic habitats.

They are supposed to start populated, I think.

There are some big changes on habitats coming to vanilla in the not too distant future so unlikely to see any major overhaul to mod habitats in the meantime - but yes, they should work :D

the three starting reefs do work and are populated. but building more you can only build one per system and you cant colonize new ones

They should create a pop on the reef when built. I'll take a look and fix today.
