Snap Election not working
Trying to do a German Empire run but I cant bring the monarchist party to rule. Just keeps telling me that the social democrats won. Is this a glitch or did I do something wrong?

apparently you have to wait for a coup event to trigger for authoritarian ideologies rather than an election. creator said in a comment you need over 45% percent support and then wait for a coup event to trigger. however I myself am having trouble with the event. so im not sure.

so i can now confirm the coups do in fact trigger. however i'm not yet sure how to consistently activate them.

Developed countries cannot elect tyrannies, you have to wait for monarchists to perform a coup.
