How do I get Protogen stuff if I am not a protogen?
I got this mod less to play as a protogen and more to have a diverse and interesting set of crewmates.

I found I could only make the protogen crafting bench by going in admin mode. And I am not sure if I need to upgrade the bench before I can make funiture but the items in the bench do not show up naturely. I have to enter admin mode for it.

This is because the item recipes are not added by default to other races, I could probably make a small patch for this at some point, though it depends.

I would like it if these items were accessible whatsoever outside of admin if you only want this mod as a way to have protogen npcs move in. You could put the crafting bench in the protogen merchant's inventory like the avali mod

You can’t actually get the protogen merchant without the crafting table already, as it requires some of my custom materials to build the poster to spawn them anyway

If I think of a solution I’ll update the mod with it
