I just wish that there were more civs available for TSL. Love it though its worked perfectly with no glitches : )

The southeast islands are too small to host a civilization, you should connect them to the mainland of florida

New Zealand in the pacific or next to Japan.

Considering both of those requests I'm looking at moving Hawai'i to the north of the Bahamas, moving Easter Island to the Gulf of Mexico, and then adding New Zealand of the coast of Baja California. Though the Caribbean islands were only added to keep in line with geography and keep a few city states, expanding them would make for a more interesting dynamic of late game colonization.

I think japan and hawaii also should be connected by sea (i.e. not ocean) to the mainland

is this normal? with random resources, city-states or civ spawn there and can't settle.

nor there, some mountains are placed for spawn.

No that is not normal. I went an double checked the map in World Builder and I found I did not set any start locations. That means that the game itself is responsible for choosing proper start locations and it failed by putting you on a mountain.

In the next update I roll out I'll make one of the variants set random civ and city state start locations in places that they can actually settle. Hopefully that will fix your problem.
