- Updated terrain to improve accuracy of coastlines, rivers, lakes and general topography
- Added New Zealand, moved Hawai'i and Rapa Nui, completely redid the Bahamas
- Using information particularly sourced from the Pergamon World Atlas, improved placement of world resources
- Rebalanced city state locations to balance civilization starts, most notably removing Hungary, Romania and Serbia because they were stiffling Austria
- Removed Egypt civ because they consistently did poorly in my test runs; they are now a city state
- Added (New) France civ to Quebec replacing Egypt
