Questions for Devs
Question, while using the Shieldwall mod I have not been able to resurrect previously destroyed factions (one of my favorite mechanics in the vanilla game). Is this a mechanic that was taken out? If so why, and could we bring that feature back?

Yes

Crashes.

Maybe. We recently solved a longstanding technical issue with compiling startpositions and we may be able to restore it due to that.

Thanks for the reply, and I hope to see the feature brought back. Even still great MOD, its like a whole new game.
