I think you need to elaborate more about what you are trying to do because I can't figure out what you just did by looking at the screenshot.
Is it before or after applying connections? How did you apply connections? Manually? With shortcut? Maybe you've joined other road and there were connections already?

I have no idea. Short clip is always better than screenshot.

Sorry, I should have said, I did the ctrl+S on a "clean" newbuilt intersection. It is from a asset I have built so I have used it many times and ctrl+s have allways worked on it before. But now I only get the 2 lines on the image. Usually I should have gotten 6 lines.

Segment angles matter a lot, so slight change and it may only applies connections to lanes it recognizes. We will take a look if anything could be improved in that regards

it will demonstrate more. And this 2 intersections I have made myself and used many many times and it worked before. And now I have tried on many but it is the same result on many, so I don't think it can be anything with the junctions.

I too am having issues with the lane connectors but with trams. For roads where trams and other vehicles share a lane, trams are ignoring lane connectors. For roads that have a dedicated tram lane, the lane connector tool isn't showing circles for the tram lanes. (But if you're careful with the mouse you can kind of sort of select a tram lane.)

Lane connectors worked fine with trams before the Roads & Vehicles update.

Not sure if related but I figured I'd toss it in there.

Recently we've introduced special mode in the Lane connector tool which allows you setting up completely separate set of tram lane connections. Use help button on the main menu (?) for more info about new shortcuts. It works as expected, you just didn't setup up tram lane connections (they also have different connector shape)

@SidOfTheNorth we weren't able to reproduce that problem on our side, unfortunately (empty map, different scenarios, roads etc.). Coudl you share that savegame on steam workshop (you can set to unlisted to hide from search engine, but post link here or via our discord text chat)?
