Modifier Requests
Please read this list of "won't be added - because" before you post your request.

Unless you have a good reason why the "because" is not valid anymore, for example because you know a patch added a new modifier, those won't/can't be implemenented.

List of modifiers that won't be added

  • Ship build speed - Only a modifier for specific ship types exists
  • Ship upgrade speed - No such modifier seems to exist
  • Ship speed in combat - No such modifier exists. There is a mod who does this, but it triggers an event each time a combat occurs which is too expensive in performance for this general mod.
  • Megastructure Build Cost - No such modifier


List of modifiers that are in Dynamic Difficulty - Ultimate Customization and won't be added here

  • Station production
  • Job production - There are more specific modifiers for the same here
  • Naval capacity - Note that extra starbases is pretty equivalent
  • Ship Upkeep
  • Ship Cost
  • Stability
  • Diplomacy Upkeep
  • Weapon Damage
  • Hull
  • Armor
  • Shields
  • Fire Rate - Added by accident :P

How about an option that increases AI bonuses periodically? Take increase additive research points every few years for example.

Periodic increases is part of the main mod. It is the most costly part in terms of performance of the main mod. And since this mod has like 10 times the modifiers, the performance costs would be accordingly higher. This is basically the reason I made this mod separate. To have the many modifier at a lower cost per modifier.

Indeed, thanks for the remark. How could I totally forget about armies. Shows how fond I am of the ground combat system :P. Will take a few days at least since I'm too busy right now.

How about giving the AI the ability to event spawn megastructures, as the AI seems to be incapable of building them until the player has already built multiple dyson spheres?

Added a whole lot of army modifiers. Didn't find recruitment speed. Feel free to test if all of them work or tell me if you find a modifier for recruitment speed.

Should be back now. I had removed it since it didn't work anymore, but it seems they just renamed the modifier. Added it back using the new name

Soo this isnt exactly a specific request, but is there any chance of getting a preset difficulty option for Max benefit to AI, then separate but the same for player?
Also same with the more modifiers oddon? a max preset for both player and Ai but separate?
This is more is just takes ages to go through the settings and manually modify them all, and itd be easier to reduce the specific settings ppl want than modify them all.
Also tbh im lazy lol. Either way thanks for the great mod!

I understand that it is a lot of work to go through everything, but maxing all modifiers wouldn't help at all in my opinion. I wish there was a way to save your settings across multiple save games but that isn't possible in game.

How about Jump-Drive Cooldown? Could be just me, but I'm only seeing Jump-Drive range.

When setting Survey speed at -1 I'm noticing survey percentages is going into the negatives in game. Am I using the feature wrong? I'm playing 4.0+

By -1 you mean -10%? The modifier seems to be applied correctly. If that leads to negative survey percentages that must be a vanilla bug.
