Me and my friends downloaded and tried to get it to work for hours, but the loading times were insane and when we did get in once we all had black screens and could hear our menus and stuff if we pressed the buttons, also we had 5 playing the DM mode. Any ideas? really wanted to play this

So the black screen is actually a movie that is playing. It's showing a black screen and for some reason it's not showing the movie. It's playing the intro movie from when you start the game so it takes about 3 minutes to play through, once it's over, you'll get the actual movie playing which then you can skip. I'm not sure why that's showing up in GM mode for you, I fixed in in Adventure so I'll have to revisit it for GM.

Our black screen was 17 minutes long. One of our friends timed it the 3rd time we tried

I THINK i may have figured it out.... Everyone needs to download from steam right?
we were trying with me as the host having DLed from steam and they thought they were installing it joining the lobby. does everyone need to DL Seperatley?

Yes. Everyone needs to be subscribed to it. Then there might be a patch DL. We've noticed a lot of that with adventure mods for multiplayer.

I took a look at everything and found only one ladder that may hinder your progress. But not really. There are more than one ways to reach certain areas and, if I think it's the spot you're possibly stuck on (watery area with the Lizard guys) then there's a way to go around to get to the area. And, trust me, you'll probably want to go the other route.

Hi, a friend and I started a campaign and it took a while to load but after we got in, my shadows just completely black out anything that a shadow effects. I can't see things if its in shadows but my friend isn't having issues with it. anything you might know of?

That's really odd. That might be a settings issue more than a mod issue?

Im guessing that im not supposed to be getting a black screen that never ends and if i press ESC i get the UI but a back map and screen and cant do anything. is there a way to fix this?

No you're not supposed to be getting a blank screen. Are you using any other mods?
