I have created a localization patch for this mod, but I cannot figure out where to translate the quest logs, map markers, and waypoint names. Do you know which files contain these elements?

Tuvis. I think you can lockpick it. But in the case you can´t, the key for the library is in the Arborean Elves Section. to the south. It´s placed in some kind of cirlce/altar that makes you bleed if you step on it.

Tuvis. It´s in the library. Northern part of the library. Where you meet one Karavakos splinters (after you defeat the Eaters of Knowldge). It´s labelled as Mystery Key.

I am no youtuber, so I don´t really stream or nothing of the sort. But soon I will start a new DOS2 playthrough ( I love the game so much) and I will definitely play the Pyramid of Shadows as post campaing content (It has become a MUST in my playthroughs) and I will try to record it and then send you a link (at least once I get into the pyramid). But I warn you, I have no editing skills.

I hope that maybe one day you can make a version that just adds the DOS2´s music, especially for the battles, tho I understand it has been a very long time since you worked on the mod and you have moved to something else.

In any case, I continue enjoying every playthrough of Pyramid of Shadows. Probably the only mod that works really well with the main campaign as post content. So thank you very much for making this awesome mod.

Wow, I didn´t notice you replied. Thank you. And sorry for replaying late.

Unfortunately even the final boss theme doesn´t work properly, if you place the cursor away from Karavakos the music just fades away and you end with no music at all. The same happens with every other custom music theme.

It was kind of immersion breaking so I ended deleting the Custom music mod and just play the DOS2 original music themes by using youtube in the background lol. Listening the theme "Embrace the deathfog" is very fitting while travelling in the pyramid or listening to the "Battle for Divinity during the final battle :steamhappy:

OK. I am completely lost. I have explored the entire map and there ain't no pyramid. I've done the staff quest but not any others. What am I missing? Is there more?

@Seven The staff quest is pretty short. It ends there. There are little to-do's here and there and all around and I'm not even sure if they work properly anymore. I have stopped working on it for over a year I'd say and have moved on to making an actual game (which is also taking a long time).

I may boot up the engine one of these days and adjust a few things (like the nights) but I'm afraid it would take me away from my project. So I try to stay focused on that.

The only custom song that really matters to me that works is the end boss battle theme. It all leads up to that.

I am thrilled beyond that you've cleared it so many times! I would love to see either a stream or a recording of the whole thing being cleared if you have the time.

I love the mod, I have cleared it 3 times already, and the best part is that I can use it as post-end content from the main campaign thanks to the adventure hub. The content of the pyramid is good. The only problem that I found is the custom music doesn´t work properly, and the only nitpick I have is the day-night mechanic (during night you cannot see anything, and as I am visually weak it really is problematic for me to navigate like that).

However, is it possible that you add here a guide for the missions that exist OUTSIDE the pyramid? I would like to explore all the content but I don´t really know if I have seen it all.

For instance, the mission about the staff that you steal from the druid? What happens after that? I return to the village and find the hooded guy in an "unfortunate" condition. Does it end there?

Anyway. Overall, the mod is great, so good job.

Where is the pyramid? I explored the whole map and can't find it, my quests just say that the crazy guy wasnt helpful and that I should give the druid staff to somebody and I have no idea where to go.

I was looking forward to the idea of being able to access and explore this mod from arx;
however, i became most distressed once i realized that as soon as the party interacts with
the gm character on the docks the party becomes permanently reduced to only 1 source point
which of course ruins my party. The mod looked very interesting and cool but now I am simply
too distressed to explore the mod if its' going to attack my party's source powerz.

@Fuzzy Wuzzy, I adjusted some things... hopefully you don't get as squashed in that first battle. Also you can now freely move between the main adventure and the mod without breaking anything (I hope). I did a little leveling up in the main campaign before traveling into the mod.

Ok, I can't find the 2nd floor key that's in the deathfog/lava room, I don't know you intend for anyone to find that key...

So I'm just going to use a chest to door-clip through the last locked door and continue the mod.

This was one of my and my friends' favorite modules in 4th edition. We played it several times and the fact that it's in DoS2 is mind blowing. Amazing stuff

Another helpful information would be how difficult the adventure is supposed to be as compared to the base game.

I also have to say I am having a slight issue - in the starting area I have no music despite having installed the music mod, is there supposed to be some music there?

Little question - would it be possible to have a little paragraph on recommendations for starting the game? For instance, how useful are the various civil abilities (persuasion / loremaster / bartering / thievery...) in the campaign? Also, I can see that you get two companions in the starting area, are there any others later? Do you recommend playing it on co-op with friends (especially since companions seem underpowered as compared with an actual player character - they only have 3 action points?)? Will there be opportunities to respec using a magic mirror or something similar?

Thank you for your hard work on this mod, it seems to be a pretty big chunk of content, but I do find the beginning a bit abrupt ^^'

@mmpr02 Those guards are tough. Maybe wait until you're a higher level to fight them haha. There should be 3 keys all in the same area, one inside of one of the petrified statues, one in the death room, and one hanging out by a tree.

Stuck Stuck Stuck in level 2 of the Pyramid. Seem to be short one of the keys - have the Key of Terror and the Key of Treachery - missing Key of Ignorance (?). Probably something obvious i've missed - but right now beating the level 12's on the 2nd floor seems impossible with my party of Lvl 7's

Ok so i have been looking for something maybe like this because i'm a oddball but i'm not sure 100% if it is what i want namely first thing this mod looks like it may do it it says something about random battles? Now to be clear this is something i wish the base game had but am told can not be modded in do to how the base game was made. Anyway main question i have is is there a way to take my main party from the main story to this mod and after getting a few levels going back to the main story kind of a makeshift place to level for the main story if i so wish?

Keep in mind i know this could hurt thee balance of the main story thing is.......I like grinding even if 99% of people seem to hate grinding :)

I picked up the three npcs right at the start, but none of them have a point in their respective combat abilities. So even though they know combat skills, they can’t use any of them.

I managed to give Cheesecake a +1 warfare ring and he can use some of his skills.
