Should a brand new player get this mod?
Hello!

I've watched some videos and this game looks great. Would you recommend a player that hasn't even bought the game just consider this a default mod to install? I appreciate the help.

Or even other things I should look into?
I hope new players including me would find this helpful! :D

personally, yes... the game is sorta bare bones as it is, so adding more stuff that would be semi-lore friendly is never a bad idea.... it doesn't add (for what I remember) anything big, just more decorations, and some "quality of life" stuff, like for example, you can set your villagers to harvest a flower every time it becomes harvest-able

Does this mod fix the problem with engine limit of 32 citizen? Because i am thinking of buying this game because of the mod but i wonder if this fix that problem?

@GrinceCringe I dont think so. Yesterday me and my friend got to about 29?? citizens between us and got our first crash.
