Bug / Glitch / Mod incompatibility submissions
Our intention is to pay attention to all notices of this type that the players wish to send us. But in order to help you, we need the proper information. Please, follow these steps:
  • Right after the error happens, look for the game log. It's stored in the file 'starbound.log', located in the 'storage' folder of Starbound.
  • Open the file with notepad and copy the contents to http://pastebin.com
  • Send the link to pastebin in this thread or at my personal Discord server[discord.gg]
  • Add any additional information that might be useful, such as your activity when the error occurred, relevant screenshots or the technical specifications of your computer.

NOTICE: Replies unrelated to errors, bugs or incompatibilities or those that not include the requested information will be ignored.

I cant join the Pirate Faction for some reason, unless there somthing else i need to do, Im on a late game character but dident do any of the story missions, i dident need to do the Erchious Mining facility because i have FU though, do we need to do that quest?

Yes. Right now you must finish the quest 'Become space worthy' to join a faction, but it is not a imperative requisite. I can change it un the next update if it means a problem for FU users.

For some reason i keep getting pirate rep from the repeatable supplies quest, and i can't trade ship generators for some reason, and for some other the exchange area shows that i'd get pirate rep anyways. Also no matter how many tintics i kill in the meteor area the meter doesn't go up.

I'm guessing where this error could come from since I cannot replicate it. It could be a mod incompatibility issue and it seems to be happening to several users. I just updated de mod with a try to fix this bug. I would appreciate if you could check if this has fixed it.

All logs are appreciated. Anyway, be sure to visit new stations in new solar systems, the already spawned ones should give the same error.

Out of curiousity, when exactly should the quest for factions appear? Had to start a new character and haven't seen it yet. Currently going through the elongated cutscene in the outpost.

I had one other character with a repaired ship, but that one also didn't get the factions quest on the console and I searched a few stars with no result in finding either faction. I did make sure to check the mod was installed and it was updated at 4:09 PM

S.A.I.L. will give you a pre-quest when you finish the 'Become space-worthy' quest from the main arc. Anyway, the captains at the stations always give the quests.

The two first bugs have been fixed with the last update, but not the other two.
In the Tintic issue: can you please tell me wich faction are you in? The problem happens in the main Tintic quest or the daily one?
Finally, could you explain the exchange area problem more in detail? Thanks

Well alright then, yeah seems you fixed it. Had no issue on the USCM ship and proceeded along just fine. I'll be sure to report again if something else comes up.
