Just downloaded, used "Prepare Carefully" to start (twice) with a synththread long tent and then a synththread big tent, and neither time could I find a way to set up the tent.

Did you select a pawn and right click the tent, there should be an option called "Deploy tent at..."

Can you please (refer to the guide linked above and) elaborate on what you mean by teleports?

sorry about that, by teleport, i mean as soon as it is deployed, it vanishes all the way to the bottom left, and trying to place another does the same thing, only it damages the previous one. I will make a save.

Thank you much, somebody else mentioned something similar happening, can you tell me approximately where you were attempting to placing your tents when they decided to move themselves?

around the center of the map in a place where all plants were cut and no items were placed. i could send a recording if that would help.

I am having a problem with the portable stove. I am able to deploy the stove and add bills, but pawns are not able to work on the bills, nor can i prioritize working on the portable stove.

@Dapperrats, there's clearly an issue somewhere, but I can't replicate it on my machine (tents pack and deploy just fine in the save you uploaded), so I have a few more questions:
Is there anything in the log before/after/during the tents migrate themselves to the corrner?
Does the teleportation occur with just camping stuff and core (you can cheat and use dev mode to drop in a tent, I won't mind)?
What is the platform, version, and architecture (if applicable) are you playing the game on (ex: Windows 10 x64, macOS Mojave, Ubuntu 18.04 x32, etc)?
