First you'll need the startpos_jap_shogun.loc for the language you want to translate this mod into. This is in the data.pack/text folder.
Second you'll need to open the expanded.pack/text/db folder. In this folder are several files which contain the new entries for the regions, settlements, factions, and characters. As these files also contain the vanilla entries you'll need to search for the new entries.
Third you need to add all the new entries from the expanded.pack/text/db files to the startpos_jap_shogun.loc. Once you've made a new version of the startpos_jap_shogun.loc you just need to add it to a mod pack.
Alternatively you could look for a language mod in a different language as this will have a startpos_jap_shogun.loc with all the entries.
I own the game in german and i really like the mod but some names are missing on the map.

There's also a new anciallry "ancillaries_colour_text_s2_anc_pdlc_monk_relic_ganghwa_rock", which is similar to "ancillaries_colour_text_s2_anc_pdlc_monk_relic_fuji_rock".
