They only drop bombs when you're in a vehicle and driving forwards in their track.

I haven't made maps for all of the tracks yet, which would show you where the tracks are and which way is forward. I meant to make them before release, but I forgot. I will post them in the next update.

I guess bullrush behavior...but it's hard to get that work right if you're not in a speeding vehicle. I don't think there's any other way to get them to bomb you when you're not in a vehicle.

I'm sorry for replying so late, but are you talking about the bombing behavior being scripted or something else?

Pretty sure in one of the episodes (I think 2) theres a apart where you fight a chopper on foot and you punt the bombs back at it.
