Detroit Engine
Think of how cool it would be to have a detroit in the r model. I love loud engined and to have one as an option for one of my favorite mack trucks would be a dream. I am not 100% sure they came original in the trucks but they were period correct.

They were. If you've ever watched the movie, "Convoy" you can hear Rubber Duck fire up the old two-stroke.

fun fact the detroit sound we hear in the movie was dubbed over because Sam Peckinpah liked the sound of a 8v71, the original trucks were all mack powered
