I'm actually loosely basing this mod off of a country simulator I play, called Nationstates (thus the name), so some of the countries I put in are final, not subject to massive change.

However, there will be a Hoosier civil war (possibly two, if you select the "right" national focuses I have planned), and there could be a chance for new factions/countries to pop up then.

Maybe for Cali there should be a fascist part of the focus where you re-take baja california and maybe expand into arizona or vegas. Maybe even form a faction called Neo-Pax Americana..I think.

Yeah, I was thinking about something like that. When I get focuses/national spirites and such in, Nevada will be little more than a puppet that you will be able to annex/get to join your new faciton. Same with Arizona and such. As well as something about striking at the cartels.

Cali reformation of the american dream (path) to form the PSA (Pacific States of America)--> were you unify with cascadia and annex alaska in some way if they go west to texas after annexing arizona new mexico and montana nevada as well the can form the FRTW (Federal Republic of the West.

can cascadia please be named the Union of Cascadia (Communist)

Maybe you can have Canada slit between "Canada East" which would countrol from Labrador and parts of Northern Maine to the river in Northern Ontario and "Canada West" which would control from Alaska to that river I mentioned in Northern Ontario while having places like Alaska,Quebec,Caisideia start out as part of one of the two countries but be realisable nations and lastly give both countries core on eachothers land so it could funtion kind of like how Communist China and Nationalist China both have cores on most of China.
The lore behind those nations is during the first north American war where a fascist USA tried to invade Canada but started to split apart from within in order to defend it's country it had to abandon half of it's territory in the west in favor of defending the East which had 2 of it's three biggest cities and the capital while Canada emerged victorios from the conflict gaining Banger and Alaska the people in the western part of the country never forgot what the government in Ottawa did decided to send soldiers from the west to defend the east while signing off the west to the invading American army.

Also it be cool to have some other nations like Vinland which could consist of Iceland,Greenland and Newfoundland while also having a nation called the Pennsylvania commonwealth which could consist of all of the start of Pennsylvania,West Virginia and parts of Ohio up to Cleavland.
The lore around those two nation could be during the first North American War Pennsylvania was one of the first states to defect from the union and was hit the worst by the United Republic of North America not only having most of its infastructure bombed or destroyed but also losing a decent ammount of it's population during the fighting and even having Philedelphia being nuked while at the same time gaining more land and out of most of the former states in the USA it's on the best terms with Canada.
The lore around Vinland could be Vinland was originalled formed in case the Allies lost in North America where if the Canadains lost they're land to the USA they could have a place to flee to and be free in return for the ceding of Newfoundland to the new Vinish state which has a decent ammount of territory and remained mostly untouched by the war but still suffers from a very low manpower in which not everyone speaks the same languge giving them the same issue the the Austro-Hungarian army had.

I mean it could be a a national spirit where as Canada you have to decide whether you want to focus on keeping the east united or risk Quebec wanting to go it's own way and cuting your country in half.

Lastly I think it be cool having the option to form new nations or old nations from history like for example if you were playing as one of the former American states you could either reform the USA,reform the Confederacy as one of the Southern states,Form the nation of Apilatia as Pennslyvania,form the Pacific states of America as California,reunite Canada as Canada East or Canada West,reive the old Mexican Empire as Mexico,or as one of the former states on the east coast you could form the Mid Atlantic leage.

Maybe give the Hoosier Alliance the option to increase the trade from the Great Lakes. That way, if a civil war happens within, they'll be more valuable to control. Infact, make it so anyone who controls that area can do that. That'll be interesting imo

Have you possibly ever thought of maybe a european intervention side event where say a random european country tries to send in forces and you have a choice to..Idk maybe deny there forces decreasing trade rlations but upping stability or...Maybe Accepting them giving you 2 of their troops..and possibly joining their alliance if they are in one but your stability lowers or something.Or you could outright kill the forces in something similar to a border conflict where they declare war on you but you get big bonuses?..I dunno maybe.

For example, production bonus, maybe add some factories in there, construction, etc. Something along those lines. Give the Hoosiers the option to strengthen it, and if they lose control of it somehow, give the controlling nation a national spirit for controlling the Great Lakes.
