Blank screen.
Almost everything works, except the screen in gmod doesnt show the game.

Same here, mate. Even added the update from the download website and still nada.

Is your screen size other than 1920x1080? I just fixed the addon for other screen resolutions but that could've been the problem before.

My screen resolution is 1440x900. Ok now there is a different problem:
[ERROR] lua/entities/retromod.lua:286: attempt to index field "GetNWEntity" of a nil value (bytecode local variable)
1. error - [C]:-1
2. __index - lua/dlib/core/funclib.lua:46
3. CreateBrowserWindow - lua/entities/retromod.lua:286
4. DoClick - lua/entities/retromod.lua:145
5. unknown - lua/vgui/dlabel.lua:232
This error shows up when i click on "Open ROM".

im having the same issue, i have the files for the addon to run roms but till black. FIX
i really need to play metroid on gmod so PLEASE fix this
