He gets a +1 enhancement bonus to: dodge, shield, natural, armor and deflection AC every 5 levels. At levels that aren't multiples of 5 he gets randomly assigned bonuses between the lower and higher enhancement level. E.g. a level 12 cleric has a 60% chance of getting a +2 bonus and a 40% chance of getting a +3, so on average he should have 3 +2 bonuses and 2 +3 bonuses. If he has buff spells that would provide a better AC bonus, he casts those instead (i.e. he will cast Magic Vestments on his shield and armor).
