The reference is a bit too obvious
Maybe changing the color or adding more details, like more dots or some spikes would make this cosmetic worth adding but idk...
Of course the red color could still be available thanks to team color paints.
Idk man, i'm just saying

It's not the same because they are promotionals items...
Plus, the Piranha pal is pretty much identical to the original Piranha plant.
Then again, i'm not saying that the tf2 items based on something nor this cosmetic are bad, i'm just giving advices for the creator of the item

Yeah the plumbers cap and jotaro's hat both got in with minor changes but the main design is very still there.

Plumber cap and jotaro hat get changed, their mark has gone, this one is clearly the same.

I don't see a difference between them.
Besides the tounge being very big, but Valve could get sued.

The piranha plants don't have their tounge sticking out and tbh, I don't think Valve would get sued for a generic Mario enemy.

I'm not a copyright expert, but this looks bit TOO similar for it to count as parody, I think. Other items either look different enough from the source material or are official crossovers.
