I am also working on a map and I have created a 14km X 14 km landscape (One Tile).
How big is your test map?
Have you tested whether a main tile of more than 1km X 1km big works in the game?
(since this size is the stated standard in the documents)
I would really like to know how to do that in the editor
I've watched your video on adding Day/ Night to the game. Watching you create a blueprint almost from scratch I must say you did an amazing job and made things a lot easier for people who are new to the unreal engine.
I can't provide you much help but I found a solution to the lighting problem you mentioned in the video. You said the vehicles were still dark in day time. Try changing skylight from 'static' to 'stationary' and set the light intensity higher. Tested and worked. But I know nothing about blueprints so can't incorporate this change into the blueprint you made in the video. I don't know, maybe you have sorted that out already.
Anyway, I hope you are not abandoning this mod because you know so much more than most of us do.
If you are stilll working on it, good luck with adding rain effects!
