Due to the new updates to leaders you cannot get a curator or anything on your researcher as a gestalt consciousness. in fact your researcher is not even a leader, but a node. how in the world are we supposed to progress withought being able to change leaders or anything? could you maybe make special dialogue options with the curators to allow the player to get the curator modifier on the researcher node. or maybe even level it up instead of getting the level 10 researcher from them? also a special project involving bio/cybernetic (synthetic for machine empires) ascension that gives the researcher node the erudite trait could also be good as an alternative.
