Final Spark origin confusion
So I gather the empire isn't supposed to sit in their home system for 2 centuries, per an update log in the summer. What I can't quite work out is what we're supposed to do in lieu of that. There is the ever-present indestructible (seemingly) alien defense stations in surrounding stars, and the local Mutants issue on the homeworld, which were recently dealt with (minus a lot of soldiers XD).

Bit stuck from here, what's the next step supposed to be?

Evidentially from researching.. you sit on your homeward and build up Torpedo frigates. The first thing you should research is Cloaking Tech. Then you build a bunch of torpedo frigates that can cloak (to get close to the starbases in the other systems) and this way you can destroy them. It still will take you like 25 or 30 years though to get out of your home system. So be prepared for an hour long wait of the game at full speed while nothing happens.

Ah makes sense, yea. Thanks!
So the issue I am having is that the Mutant HQ suddenly went from 16k army strength to over 120k in the span of a few years??? Incomprehensible how I am supposed to deal with that when my own armies barely do anything and each unit they have is worth so much more than every one of mine? Not to mention I'm always bordering bankruptcy just to keep my armies that are, at this point, entirely useless and unable to actually accomplish anything.
It also says I should build outpost districts. I have no such option for making those?

so far from what I've gathered while playing this origin is that you practically rely on saves just to avoid them attacking you and yes do exactly the cloak and destroying a station it's just so cruel of an origin I wouldn't even call it challenging it's name should just be "cruel" due to how impossible it is (I'm determined to beat it but it's a hard HARD cruel battle of time)

alright learned a new thing apparently I went with cloak and fleet still died apparently the station develops cloak tech even tho it shouldn't... so for me it's completely impossible as well the station having an apparent system wide range so I can't out-range it anymore

Personally I just bypass them, find the station that is the farthest from the hyperlanes you want to pass through, send a cloaked science ship to scout the new system.

Next build a ton of construction ships (you want 30 or more) set to passive and send a bunch of high evasion corvettes to draw the fire of the station while your stack of Constructors makes for the hyperlane.

The station should spend most of its time erasing your corvettes, with the occasional sniping beam to destroy a constructor.

If you have enough distractions you should get at least 1 construction ship through to the safe system so you can build a starbase and start expanding.

As for the mutants, make sure you have a general leading your armies and build some (a lot of) landcruisers and tanks, but don't attack as the mutant armies that assault you are a tiny fraction of what guards their base.

You probably want to hold off on trying to destroy their base until you unlock Delta tech and can get both a Delta Giga-Fortress and a Daedalus Alignment to buff your newly upgraded Delta armies (who have been farming the relatively weak mutant attack armies for XP these last few decades).
