(BUG???) different databank chain
I was developing my empire as I normally do but I'm now getting a different event chain for the precursor databank... before had the following ways of obtaining it:

steal from fallen empires (which I don't have spawn)

buy form curators (which I would do)

or make it myself

now I got a brand new chain to develop it my self that I tried, but it ate up my research team, now I have these two options that I am unable to do:

pay the Phanon corp

or buy from the curators

Is this a bug, is AOT involved, or what is going on? Please help.

Update: The game somehow deleted my save, but this gave me another chance to get the databank which I succeeded in, but this event chain is still new to me, and the other paths seem broken, so I'm leaving this as a reference for whom it may concern.
