Database Machine Rebellion?
So I decided to try and make a database myself and. . .well, it spawned a machine rebellion that occupied all of my worlds in my shipyard systems, and most alarmingly of all spawned a Herculean. It was an instant game over, because there simply wasn't any sieging down the ~20 planets full of newly spawned machine pops and armies, and i lost all of my Planetary Dockyard fed shipyards to the rebellion simply spawning, but that's kinda beside the point.

The point is, are they bloody supposed to have a Herculean? And are they supposed to fill every planet they get given by event? because holy ♥♥♥♥ that's quite something to have dropped on you with no warning when the best you have is Delta Battleship fleets.

Oh, on top of that, i can't seem to get more than one design from Sophia. The event to start a new one just. . . seemingly never appears, and I also can't seem to construct the design I unlock.

Yes,they are supposed to have a Herculean.
Ideally,if you roll the Alpha Uprising (As it is sometimes called),you should switch sides and play as the newly spawned empire.

As for the designs,did you take the Pursuit of the Past AP? Without it,you cannot do Reimagination projects. To build Precursor designs,you need a special shipyard module on your starbase? (Not required on Precursor/Sigma Fortresses)

I took the AP, and i didn't swap to the rebellion because well, I hate playing machines: they reproduce way too slowly. I unlocked Escorts, and then, well, couldn't build them and couldn't get another project.

Yes, Alpha databank is suppost to have all that(it also a "AI" rebellion, with all its joys)
Just talk again to sophia the databank, in the reimagination tab
