Precursor Databank not appearing on Contacts Screen
Hello Everyone!

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem!! I got to the Alpha Project step, where the AI popped up and I got to ask it questions to unlock the three Alpha Project techs.

After researching them, however, I don't get any events to progress into stellarite, and I can't find the Precursor Databank AI in my Contacts screen.

Has anyone faced this issue before?

I guess there could be a number of mods that could be conflicting with ACOT.. please see below my mod list. It's currently being loaded in that order.

I'd really hate to not be able to experience this beautifully crafted mod to the fullest, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did a bit of digging, and it looks like the creation and subsequent addition of the Precursor Databank to the Contacts List is via an event that fires only once upon completion of the databank analysis research. While I got the ALPHA AI pop-up, and was able to interact with it to gain access to the three insanely long research options, I am not able to interact with it any further as it simply won't appear as a Contact..

Just curious; is it possible to flare up that even manually and force it to activate the precursor databank AI assistant as an interactable Contact?

No so far but to get another tech you have to steal it from fallen empire

Just go to contact list and you see precursor databank name there

Yes! Normally, that would be the way to go, but unfortunately in my case, something is conflicting with ACOT and the precursor databank is nowhere to be found on my contact list!! That's the issue..

Right now I'm looking for a way to maybe get it to appear via save edit, but so far no progress on that..

I'm having the same problem, I went through the same thing you did researched the Alpha project and so on but I don't see SOPHIA in my contacts I was looking in my researched items list and I saw some necessary items to unlock SOPHIA wasn't researched yet.

It's been a year from your last post, have you found a fix yet? Or is it unfixable? If so I'm planning to make a new game, though if I experience the same bug that'd be pretty pissy. I hope for your replay!

Follow up on my last post, I've managed to research the alpha precursor ship designs through an expedition project, though I have yet to be able to obtain SOPHIA. Perhaps obtaining SOPHIA requires me to complete and expedition beforehand though this's just a baseless guess.

I have the same issue and softlocked the alpha tech by saying "do it later" and since SOPHIA doesn't show up in contacts I can't access the alpha tech without reverting a save

I am also having this issue. I had the phanon corp get me the databank then completed the research, but never got a notification and cannot find the databank in my contacts. Any suggestions?
