We need to know how powerful or bad it will be.

My Stats:

The traditional way to get drunk overseas.

(+-) Gamble a bit. +30 Damage or -25 Health if inflicting damage at the opponent)
(+) The Gamble ability only happens every 6 hits.
(+) Bottle Breaks Faster.
(+) Melee Speed Increased by 10%
(-) Damage -25
(-) Due to you being so drunk, you speed is -30 of your normal speed

Every 4th successful hit heals 100 health
+50% faster firing speed
-50% damage penalty
This weapon holsters 25% slower
My idea:

+) On melee kill: store one mini-crit for another weapon (primary or secondary weapon)
+) 15% faster movement speed on wearer
-) -25 max health on wearer
-) 20% slower swing speed

why not a bottle that when broken causes bleed damage?

when broken: causes bleed on hit
-25-30%? damage
How about this
-25% damage penalty
-20% melee attack speed penalty
Hitting the same enemy adds +10% damage per hit, up to +70%. Damage resets when hitting another enemy
On Hit: +40% melee attack speed for next attack
On Kill: 3 second speed boost
On Kill: Mini-crit boost for 3 seconds
How about it just be a reskin?

My stats:
(!) Taunt to consume (drink) the bottle
(!) When consumed: apply a drunk-like effect, deal 50% more damage and move speed, attack speed reduced by 33%, gain 75% rate of dodging any damage type(no damage nor knockback), can only use melee. This effect last 8 seconds and cooldown in 15 seconds
(+) 40% faster attacking speed
(+) When broken: Deal an additional 3 seconds of bleed damage as well as a bonus 20% attacking speed
(+) Bottle can be restored back to its original form when touching a resupply cabinet
(+) Effect cooldown time can be reduced faster via a dispenser or payload
(-) -40% damage penalty
(-) When broken: You are unable to consume to obtain the effect and damage reduced by an additional 25%

Or just a reskin of the existing bottles

If bottle is smashed killing and enemy will give a speed boost
why not reskin? or does bleed when broken
what do you mean it breaks faster

The bottle doesn't gain damage if its broken its just a fun effect maybe make that a hidden stat because its not as important
Idea 1: The Demoman's New Chug Jug
(hidden) - Doesnt break
+ Gains a charge every time you pick up a health pack, up to 10
+ On Taunt: Heal for 15 health for every charge you have
(hidden) + Taunt healing can grant very slowly decaying overheal (up to 50)
- No random crits
- 30% slower swing speed
- 30% slower deploy and holster speed
(hidden) - all charges are consumed if you taunt while below max health, regardless of health lost

+ On hit: deals knockback
+ Has a longer melee range
- 40% damage penalty
- slower draw and holster

Idea 3: Power Brew
+ Grants extra 0.7 seconds of charge duration
+ On kill: Enemy drops a small health pack
(hidden) Heals 12 health whilst taunting (like the Kritzkrieg's Oktoberfest taunt)
- Slower draw and holster
- Honorbound: Holstering this weapon without getting a kill with it first causes 10 seconds of bleeding

Idea 1 was based off of stats from a CTF2W Weapon, Idea 2 was inspired by a weapon concept found on r/tf2, and Idea 3 was of my own original design. Tell me what you think!

(-) On every bottle kill: force bottle drinking taunt (50% damage resistance during taunt, like old phlog, kind of);
(+) After forced taunt gives bonus effect for 8 -10 seconds depending on bottle state:
- unbroken bottle gives "Boose Effect": additional hp (e.g. +25 hp) and damage resist (maybe 20-30%), as downside less attack speed;
- broken bottle gives "Sober Rage Effect": deal and receive more damage; and speed bonus;
(-) Can use only your bottle while under "bonus effect"(even no charge).

I want a new meme weapon for demo, caber was nefed below the ground and is not fun any more. Idk about real numbers, but I hope you get the idea.


Also I think demo needs new utility weapon because he has only Pain Train which is not very popular. New bottle which will:
(+) cleanse bad status effects (like: bleed, afterburn, mark for death) on taunt, like some potion;
(-) have reasonable recharge time (you can't taunt without charge);
(-)have some battle capabilities downgrades (less damage, attack speed, etc.).

It will be nice to have a choise in melee weapons when playing stock demo with granade and sticky launchers, because swords are basicaly for demoknihgts.

This kind of concept has been around when Valve was making the KGB, but gives 50 hp and a +10% crit chance to nearby teammates. Forcing the user taunt is like forcing the user's guard down, make them badly vulnerable against enemy Spies, this concept also really hate escaping plans, if you luckily get a random crit to kill a chasing enemy when you have low HP, not only the forced taunt will hold you back, but also give you the "Sober Rage" effect (crit hits will always make bottles break), making you have to take more damage during your escape, the 50% damage resistance won't really save you if you killed someone and their teammates come after them.
eh... 15% more speed, 10% less damage, making it a utility
