Crafting Bots are just sitting on their charging docks
Crafting Bots are just sitting on their charging docks and do nothing except every once in a while one will go to the smithy to make a sword? Maybe this is just me not using the things correctly but the crafting bots simply are useless currently.

Bought a crafting bot to craft. Apparently fabricating or stone cutting isn't crafting. Is there a config I can change? I couldn't find one. I bought this bot first to build the other bots.

I bought mine to actually craft weapons and clothing and other stuff like that.

There can be issues generally with the bots proceeded skill level, which limits it's crafting options. Some mods have removed the bots ability to fabricate, while others simple break the jobs system the bots understand. At least with one of those that can be fixed with a compatibility mod. Sorry for the late response. Steam doesn't notify me when new discussions are created.

Is there a way to have crafting bots use the Smelter? I checked the info tab on the bots and it doesn't mentioned smelting.

They are supposed to be able to. I'll be looking into it along with other workbenches/recipes not being used.
