Alright, I tested up til I got tired of spamming Disintegreate :P, so here's my feedback(keep in mind that this is on HC Elite Synergies):

Disintegrate is awesome, perhaps too much so. It feels good, has very good damage (over 100% weapon dps for a lvl1 skill is high compared to most classes I play :P), casts fast, has good range, pierces enemies, is a good size projectile, carries weapon effects, it's cheap, it breaks shields, blows up enemies, and it has no cooldown. The only drawback I saw is that it doesn't generate charge, but as strong as it is, who needs charge?

Mutagen spawned a critter some of the time when it got the killing damage(I assumed it would spawn if I tagged a mob with it and then killed it with say, disintegrate...but that never happened). Whenever they did spawn, the critter was weak and its duration was pitiful. It often got oneshot by mobs too. Felt like a complete waste. I am assuming it isn't done yet.

Cold snap...it's a teleport, of course it's awesome. :P

Acid rain: This felt like a complete waste of a skill point and cast time. I was better off spamming disintegrate 24/7. (you will notice a trend with this :P)

Ice shards: Worthless damage and barely slowed. Better off throwing down Toxic Spill and spamming disintegrate some more.

Toxic Spill: Amazing. Fast casting, good snare, no cooldown, not too costly mana-wise. Very good combined with Cold Snap for kiting and blasting enemies with Disintegrate. :P

Power draw: felt like a waste of a cast, tbh. I got all the mana regen I needed from Mad Genius, and all the damage I needed from Disintegrate.

Gas grenade: good for debuffing the enemy with poison. Other than that, worthless.

Freeze Ray: I don't see the point of this spell, tbh. Damage is nonexistent and I get all the kiting I need with Toxic Spill and Cold Snap.

Unstable Telport: Fun ability. Teleporting enemies instead of yourself is amusing.

Death Ray: Very very weak. The dot vastly outperforms the main damage, and the dot damage is kinda sad since it doesn't stack on itself. If it did, it might be worth using. Would also be worth using if it carried weapon effects, like X damage over Y time, which does stack on itself.

Irradiate: Weak, especially for its short range.

Cold Shoulder: the stun was inconsistent and slight movement forward was more trouble than it was worth. Also, the damage was pretty sad.

Tractor beam: Situationally useful. The mana cost is a bit high though, I think.

Robot army: didn't summon anything, said I was 3/5 of the way to tier 1 bonus after 1 point.

Call Henchmen: Summons 1 puny skeleton that was super weak and got completely smashed, lol. Also, said I had all 3 tiers complete after 1 point.

All the passives feel good, and they all worked iirc. Really like Mad Genius. :P

I loved the flavor text on the abilities, especially on the passives.

TL;DR: Disintegrate is a bit on the strong side, Cold Snap, Toxic Spill, and the passives are pro, everything else needs a buff. :P

Thanks for the feedback! Man, HC Elite Synergies with an incomplete, unbalanced class. That's pretty insane.

Robot army only goes up 5 levels. I use a mod that auto takes all characters to lvl100 from the start to be able to tell what goes on with the distrubting the points (mod adds 990 stat and skill points). I noticed the customization of faces and other visuals on the character is limited when playing Synergies. (I'm assuming this was just a mix up because Synergies added those extra hair styles and such). I'll keep on the look out for other things in the mean time. Great work!

Your class has actually been the easiest for early Elite HC Synergies of all the alpha classes out I've been testing. Disintegrate is just that good. :P

I agree about Disintegrate but I think half the problem with it is combining it with Mad Genius. The mana regen from that is making Disintegrate much easier to spam, which unless you cut damage dramatically would still cause problems. Mana regen of 0.5 per skill level would be more reasonable I think, for eventually balancing all of your skills.

Fix: Robot Army summons four however one (or more) of the summons tend to get stuck in objects (walls and such)

Some feedback on Robot Army:
I feel they are far too squishy. They take so much damage compared to the damage they dish out, and I don't think %armor bonus will help much without some beefier armor to start with.

Hmm. Not sure how to fix the robot-getting-stuck-in-objects issue. I'll ask Salan, he's worked with summon abilities before.

As for them being squishy, I'll increase their health and damage across the board for the next release. That should help.

I'm playing a build centred around Incendiary ammo, Mana and HP passives, and wielding a cannon or shotgun. It's terrific fun to blast everything into oblivion with the weapon, build my charge nice and quick and then let rip with Disintegrate.

As I play with a gamepad and the Xinput tool, it's important to me to get good fun out of a class without needing to use a huge amount of skills all the time. So far I'm loving the Techmage vibe, and enjoy a class that I can play with a quirky twist.

@The fish still relevant, balance changes (like my big Cryotechnics overhaul) come after all the skills are in place.

Also, this is just one guy's feedback thread, not THE feedback thread! If you have your own feedback, please make a new thread, it'll make it easier for me to keep track of.

Please, give this class a unique symbol an charge bar. Also make it work with the full character creation options.

The seventh Active Skill in the Annihlation Skill Tree is lacking it's picture and it possess a random name from the other skills.
Other then that, keep up the good work.
