What I did was get the alternative mod launcher. Once that was downloaded, It then opened my eyes to a lot of dependencies missing than I realized.
See, steam workshop does have a feature that lets you see what mods you need as a dependency. What it doesn't tell you or prompt you on, is that those mods ALSO have dependencies. So you literally have to go down a rabbit hole of mods to get all the right ones.
All in all, with that launcher, I found this made it easier to identify.
There is one exception however. The mod "Primary Secondaries" you will find is causing the issue. What you need is "Primary Secondaries BETA"
This will flag it but so long as you're only running the beta mod then everything should work fine.
