It's more of an exploit,but I'm going to post it here.
This exploit basically gives you the ability to shut down the trace at any time(wihout taking up ram and shutting it down permanently)You activate security tracer(obtained at "Productivity" on Erin's laptop)and you kill it using the process id.I'm pretty sure this is because security tracer activates a trace when you run it normally,so when you kill it it automatically shuts down the trace and since there isn't code for overlapping traces,it closes the trace from the server you're hacking into as well.

this is a bad bug i i hate it am at the part were the irc chat was going to get updated and you get hacked well i failed it and i went back to the game well i went back to the irc chat and thay said wut thay said but only say it 3 times and when i get hack and have to do the ip restore the game crashes

I'm going to need a bit more info. Did you restart the game or anything before you joined the IRC, or did you fail the IP reset? Failing the IP reset just makes you restart it.

You're already aware of this one but running the sequencer more than once breaks certain aspects of the game, which I know you're gonna get around to fixing ASAP. Happy my curiosity could help you catch little hiccups on day one :steamhappy:

I got a small problem (maybe its from hacknet it self) but I only have a laptop and a small screen.

I'm able to continue, but had to dig in files (found it pretty quickly)

Yeah, that's an issue with Hacknet and small screen resolutions. There is a solution in the extension, you can just switch themes. I provided two themes in the drop server at the start, if you switch to Forest theme you can see the password.

I think this is a bad bug. So when the I got hacked and went to the emergency mode, avert trace or whatever it's called, and went through the standard stufff. I wasn't doing so hot so I exited the session to redo it. Now when I look at the IRC chat, Quartz and the others are saying their lines but three times and when I go to emergency mode, it crashes the game. Is this a bug or something?

When im in the emergency mode thing and I failed it, it crashed the game, so I reopened it and I went back to the IRC chat and they were saying their lines 3 times then when I went to the emergency mode, the game just crashes and I cant do anything about it unless I restart my save

Someone else had this issue that, unfortunately, I couldn't find an answer for.

I think I found the issue. I'll fix it ASAP.

So. Kwiper... found a bug. In the Offline Sequencer thing, if you try to re-attempt by qutting out and going back in, you're stuck in console mode. Not sure of a way to get back.. think i have to restart.. oh boy.

Hello, quartz said me to return in hellsec ASAP but when I go in the IRC chanell nothing happen and I can't choose a mission.
