I am still testing the optimal volumes for many weapon sounds, so any feedback is appreciated if you find certain weapon sounds or others to be underperforming or overperforming.

It would be nice to have a submod that changes the perdition beam sound to something similar to the Olympus Mons' F-SPAR cannon from infinite warfare, maybe bass-boosted. The current sound is nice, but I feel like it's not loud and earrape-y enough.

I can keep increasing the sound, I am still experimenting on how far can I go before it's "too loud"

there's no such thing as too loud. Maybe make it sound less like a PEW and more like a BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Alternatively, I can use them for Colossus weapons, which imo should be the single, largest sound in the universe.

I have a funny idea that the Spiritualist God Hand's gonna be not just weapon firing, but like an entire crew on the whole ship is chanting some chorus while they "persuade" an entire planet to their religion.

I am more sad only Spiritualist gets to have their own unique toy. I wish each ethic gets something similar like

Xenophobe - Rewrites the entire planet's pop into more of their own, or turn them all into pre-sapient species

Pacifist - Destroys all of enemy planet's weapons and garrisons, leaving them easy for conquering

Materialist - Process entire population into energy and buildings into minerals.

The latest update experiments on adding various musical stingers to accompany event sounds,

If people dislike them, they'll be removed in the next update. +50 influence, -20 Modder Opinion, Sadface Modifier Added for 5 minutes.

Transforming a xeno doesn't stop it from being a dirty xeno. The only things that can cleanse them proprely are the fires of hell.

I should probably remix the construction ship click sound, or at least lower the volume, it gives me a strange vibe when I select it way too often with the high-pitch clicking sound.

I have no specific argument with the current sounds in this mod, but some of them feel a little off and not "powerful" enough, so I'd like to propose a few changes. My suggested sounds are in this google drive folder, named to identify which thing they go with.

I must admit, I used current plasma sounds simply because I want to add SC Dragoon phase disruptor sounds into it lul.

While those are nice sounds, there needs to be around 3-4 variations otherwise they'll sound too repititive. But I may keep them for futher weapons if I ever get to make patches for mods that add new weapons like ESC.

Sure! I'll keep bringing in more sounds for you to use, since I have tons of them kicking around on my hard drive.

Speaking of which, I found a good one for the railgun (no offense but the railgun sound you have still isn't "punchy" enough for my tastes lol). Uploading it to that folder now.

Yes I admit I am a bit lazy with railgun mostly because it is only used on one single weapon, the railgun tech. EVEN ADAVANCED RAILGUN does't use that soundset.

I wanted to give it better sounds, but I don't want it to outperform mass drivers, because mass drivers is used by all other tiers.

New railgun sounds are uploaded. Yes the bass clipping on the third one is intentional.

EDIT: Bonus! New tachyon lance sound too.
