What your army composition for Macedon?
Looking at the units I can't tell the difference between some of them. fpr example difference between peltasts phalanx and white shields and also agema phalanx and the greek settlers excluding that the settlers have missle capabilities what are the benefits of the agema phalnx as they are more expensive.

Any clue let us know.

And what the difference between royal peltast (melee) and agema (melee)?

Historically speaking, the agema (melee) where the most elite of the royal peltasts. White shields were veterans, not sure about peltast phalanx (livy? (maybe polybius) said that royal peltasts also fought in a phalanx so maybe it's them, but with pikes), agema phalanx has shorter pikes in the game from what i've seen, making them more maneuverable.

I get that but let's say the peltasts phalanx has around 15 morale and I think 12 or 12 melee defence but the white shields have every stat lower than the peltasts phalnx but with one better melee attack of 10 so why would you choose white shields instead of peltasts phalanx.

Thats just one example there arer several units that are very similiar from what I can tell.
