Influence points for women?
I have been playing as macedon for about 100 turns. Econemy wise im up at 770k with an annual income of about 60k at 4tpy. I dont own much ( only 2 cities and 2 towns) and my martial strength is ok (completly dwarfed by the bazillion 20 stack Selucid armies lingering in western anatolia). However the only thing im struggling with is my Political influence. I cant help but notice my family members get lumped with awfull traits that completly diminish their abilty to gain influence and its completly out of my hands. Im power is negletible and has been since Philip died. On the one hand it is kinda accurate royal succession isnt always smooth, but Philip has been dead for a while and my current king is aparently very unpopular. On the other hand my characters who are not part of the royal family gain influence like its going out of fashion, to the point where one guy has more then my entire family combined.

*********** SKIP HERE IF YOU CBA TO READ MY ESSAY***************
More to the point of over influencial non family characters. I have seen threads saying that the best tactic is to adopt them, but that costs more influence then any of my guys can muster over their lifetime. An ancient tried and tested method was to simply marry a daughter to popular and influencial nobles, bring their support onto your side. However, and heres the kick in the nuts, The women in your family dont build influence of their own. Meaning you cannot marry them off, except to foreign royals, which lets face it is pointless. I am curious to find out if this was an intentional design by the team, or if it is simply an unaviodable side effect of the changes made to the game. And i dont really want to resort to assassinating my characters who essentially become to good at their job.
Love the mod tho, done a real bang up job :).

The lack of influence is a bug that we're finding hard to fix. Different strategies will soon be employed, as I have a few novel ideas in mind. It's an important part of politics, so we're going to figure the solution

I'm through 50 turns with macedon king philip just died and only own pella and the one with the big eye (?) . I struggled witht he first playthrough with macedon in general then this one in 50 is going well and I have politics down to a tee even though my king died I have 100% popular support. Carefully managing and taking decision. some nobles had poor loyalty around two rebeled killed them and then that there loyalty gone from nobles. I have only adopted one noble with highiest influence early on and he has been adding to my familyies influence. then using families influence (other character influence in my family to gain political support) has worked well for me so far. does flutucate but can be managed once you have got the hang of it

yeah i got it somewhat under control now, but i have 4 women in my family tree who are just there not doing anything, my king has 2 daughters who are 31 and 28 and they are both unmarried, it just annoys me a lil but devs are working on it :)
