How do you seige settlements with macedon????? Tips
Absolutely solid is their a better way phalenx troops can't seige and enemy has choke points I win but the amount of men i lose is mad?

Appreciate any tips!

Well I assumed you knew how to do that.

In this mod Morale is key. It's very difficult to just brute force your way through. So you gotta get behind them, you gotta surround them and you gotta get most of your kills while they rout.

Think i figured it out macedon are good for seiges. I think it is best to seige for longer so more gaps can be expolited as better through cheavily guard choke points is just too costly or alternatively assult the port if the settlement is a port which is the best bet.

Play to the strength of the phallanx. If you are playing macedon correctly your army should be 60%-70% Phallanx and 25%-35% cavalry. Starve them and lure them out into the field. The AI will not beat you in open battle. And if they dont attack you, well they will starve and loose men and eventually capitulate :)
