anybody else having trouble with the politics?
Im playing as the Kingdom of Macedon and its going quite well except for the politics. First thing is my power keeps going down and no matter what i do it keeps going down which really is crippling( its now at Neglectible). second thing is, i don't know whether im just really unlucky or im missing some game mechanic, that any of my politcal moves like gain support or find a wife or adopt always fails and thus i cannot stop my power going down and it keeps getting worse. could someone please explain if i have missed something and that im playing all wrong because i swear i never had this with any other attila mods. Also love the mod but yeh just anyone plz help cos otherwise im gonna go bankrupt in like 5 turns

Edit. just finally got some politcal support finally but its done nowthing to the power bar. i honestly am running out of ideas xdxd. im such a failure at politics xdxd

Edit edit. finally after doing a bit of cheating by saving and trying over and over again, i got people adopted into my family and now im back upo to balanced so its all good, for now. but still again i just find it very difficult to hold on to that polictical power.

Yeah as Macedon I keep having trouble with this. Also I t wont let me recruit any units. It either sys no recruitment points available, or it says my city is under siege which it clearly isnt.

I have both issues as rome too. My faction leader died and my political power went from 32 to 8%.
I get that its suppose to drop a bit but...

I didn't get it at first but you just need to think about what you are doing. I'm macedon and I am fine when you just think about what you are trying to do. Make sure you adopt nobles into your family that has high influence also battle with your ruler he gets more influence and also put your nobles in seats the right of the screen it takes from their influence. when you adopt nobles into your family try and gather support again it takes from their influence so they are not more influential than your ruler.

I don't get recruitments points either. How to you gain more? is my question
