A bit of feedback.
So im about three-four hours into the campagin as rome atm. And overall exellent work guys, i am blown away by the battle system and the overall feel of the campagin.

However, and bare in mind im in early game atm so i dont know if this is meant to improve as the game goes on, But i feel like the changes in income from season to season are a bit extreame. Like ive been going from makeing +15k to -11k in the span of a few turns, and thats with only one 5-6 unit army.

I also noticed the a.i (and im playing on Normal/Normal) is super aggresive in this mod, like in the first five turns i was attacked by three nighboring factions. And with the income being as it is i can barely sustain enough troops to hold them and Carthage.

So thats my two cents of feedback. Hope it helps!

enjoying mod a lot. few things. wives dont gather any influence over time,is this intended? 2 seasons/year... i would really like 4. winter every second turn is a bit too much,especially while it cuts out unit replenishment. once again,im not sure if thats intended or bug, but my army does not replenish in winter time. another bug is sometimes when recruiting,im not getting my units next turn cos game claims my town is under siege. obviously was not. i had only 2 towns and none of them was under siege,hell i didnt even had any wars going.next thing,but this might be just personal,is some units (like merc cretan archers) have couple diffrent unit cards while being exactly the same( name and stats wise) Its bit confusing in battle.But this may be just me,perhaps some people enjoy havin 4 cretan archers in army with 4 diffrent cards... Thx for entertaiment!

The winter penalties are too great, I don't think the Roman empire went bankrupt and experienced massive famines every time winter hit.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. The balance is way off, to the point that Rome will collapse immediately without demolishing a whole lot of buildings.

I expect the devs want there to be a challenge at the beginning, but there already is with the war with Carthage. Since I have to fight for every province over several turns (instead of being able to just demand regions in a peace), I would at least like Rome itself to be stable (if nothing else, at least the province of Italia. As it is right now, I pretty much have to demolish it and rebuild, which is stupid).

The campaign just isn't enjoyable with this level of challenge right off the bat. Hannibal had been causing havok in Italy, I know, but how the hell am I supposed to get anywhere without just abondoning everything and essentially starting over? I want battles to be challenging and having to work towards certain goals, not be fighting a stupidly harsh penalty to income and food every 2 turns.

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how the testers have been okay with this release. I mean, did they even play more than a turn? Was getting the battle of Zama right the only focus for the past few months? Because that battle was fun, but the campaign afterward is a real kick in the nuts.

Not trying to sound overly critical, but I look forward to seeing any changes to the economy over the next few updates. As it is now - even though I'm enjoying the depth of units and buildings and such - I have no real desire to delve into a long campaign.

Yeah. If I had a suggestion to possibly fix the economic issue I would suggest either adding in a more turns per a year mod and/or cutting back the debuffs caused by winter. Not completely but by like 25%. This in my opinion would still provide challenge but not break the early campaign. Just a thought

is it normal that AI cav attack pikes . and AI troops has no reserve units on battlefield .

Hello! I just started a Roman Campaign and am very much enjoying it... except for the fact that no matter what I do, the Republic is about to colapse! The upkeep on the buildings is so steep that I wonder if the only way to not go backrupt in 2 turns is to tear EVERYTHING down in at least 5 diffrent towns. I like the idea of showing that Hannibal had wreaked alot of stuff in Italia however I am not even to Winter yet and money is going to Hell so fast I am going to have to just tear down every building in Spain and then abbandon all my towns there or something! LOVE THIS MOD, PLEASE FIX THE MONEY CAUSE IT IS KILLING THIS MOD'S FUN FACTOR!

This is a bug that we haven't yet been able to solve, but we're working on it.

-Economy
Upkeep vs income not balanced, the patch will do for now, but currently building almost anything at all other than resources is not an attractive option.

-Winter penalties
too harsh, it's an apocalypse every winter.

-settlement growth.
Currently can build up every settlement to max, will Attila's growth system be implemented?

Enclosed Drill Fields provides the same bonuses as Weapon Exercise Field except for maintenance costs.

-on some settlements, trained siege equipment that was not tall enough to reach the walls.
-can replenish armies in regions that have penalty, by parking army in port
-public order penalties for tax could come down, at 80% a rebellious populous will either have, or be close to 100% still. Be great if this could be made to be -99=99%.
-Tax rate, if it is possible, maybe add a state culture +- to give more options to the tax system
-lowered taxes are too similar to bread and circuses, maybe 40% tax reduction, +15 public order
