The style of these lights are very nice! Although, I feel the intensity settings are heavily lacking.

I feel like there should be at least 5 settings, and the highest setting should reach really far. Have a look at a mod called "Bright Torches". That's how far I envision the highest setting would illuminate.

Nice work, and I look forward to seeing this one grow. :)

Hopefully, there will be an update out on friday. The lights in the new version have a much greater range now. Maybe i'll add a very low and very high preset.Thank you for your suggestion.

The new lights are great work. Thank you @reinerSCT. Can you make a half as long metal-work light? For many modding ceilings with crossbar is it to long. No compulsion, only a question. And additional, not as a change of the original worklight.

The previously mentioned pin code. The mod give you the choice to switch the Daylight Sensor on/off. As a addition to that, would a pin code setting to be good.

This mod is great. I love the feel, the color it gives off. It's perfect for making the home comfy and not just so bright that it makes you alter your brightness settings. My only problem, so far, is that there are ruins in most maps and most structures in the game do not allow you to place such structures on the ground without a foundation of some kind and the ruins do not count as a stable flooring. Could the crafting station, ceiling lights, and wall lights be made to not require a player made structure?

The frequency of light flashes is fixed and fast, and irregular frequency or adjustable frequency can be selected.

Hi there,

I have two requests. Firstly, I often want to place lights in out-of-reach places such as under vaulted ceilings. It would be nice if we could have a remote control tool that could be used to adjust the lighting. As S+ is such a popular mod, it would be ideal if your lights were compatible with the S+ Light Setter.

Secondly, I'm currently building in one of the many ruins on The Center and I've found that I cannot place lights on the ceiling or archways; that I have to place them on a floor/ceiling. It would be nice if we were able to place the lights on the terrain as well as structures.

Hi,
thank you for your suggestions. There is actually a controller gun in this mod, where you can pull and apply settings from light to light. I can't make my lights compatible with the s+ gun. I think the gun only works on s+ lights.

You can place the dynamic lights everywhere and the floor lights can be placed on the terrain. I don't think, i will ever change this. I'm to scared to break things already placed. :D

I'd really like it if the crafting speed could be adjusted in the ini settings, and if the lights could be changed to 'metal' for the ones it makes sense for. I use the "wall lanterns" in my taming pen along with a castle mod and they keep getting destroyed by dinos that I'm taming, doesn't make much sense when they are crafted with metal, crystal and oil xD. Love the mod though!!

Thank you for your suggestion. I will add more ini options over time. The lights do have the same damage settings as the vanilla lampposts. They also get damaged by the majority of dino attacks.
I don't think i will change this. We could argue about changing the wooden lights to be also damaged by stone. I haven't really invested much time into the damage settings. Maybe i'll adjust some of the health values, but i think, we have to live with the state they are in now :D

Loving this mod so far, it's something the game needed very badly to make nice-looking builds. Would it be possible to have a version of some of the lights that required fuel? Or a version of the handheld ones that have durability like normal torches? Or is there perhaps a way I can modify this myself?

I know that probably seems like an odd request! My wife and I are soloing The Island together, and we're trying to avoid mods that feel "cheaty" or circumvent the vanilla game mechanics. So at the moment, we're only allowing ourselves to use these lights on our bases that have running electric generators, lol.

Thank you. I'm actually currently working on ini options, to make them lights use fuel. I'm looking into adding options for the durability consumtion for handheld lights also. :D

Hello! Loving this mod! My request is that the candles can be placed on top of storageboxes, chairs and benches. I was able to put them on top of the fireplace, and I really liked that.
