Test if FU is not installed, then do the FU incompatible stuff.
Test if FU is installed, then do the stuff which is only compatible with FU.
For everything else, no test is needed.
That might enable you to merge the non-FU and FU versions of this mod into one mod, making the maintenance and expansion easier in the long run.
