After getting the update to the mod, creating a new character, then upgrading the starship to max level, it appears it causes you to get stuck in eternal-loading. It never fully loads into the starship.

By max level do you mean over rank 3 or rank 6.

Rank 6. I know there was a statement made that it could go beyond 3, only for extra crew member capacity, so I went directly to that.

As a heads-up, it fails to load an upgraded ship, regardless of upgrade level beyond making it FTL worthy.

Currently non-Lyceen species get the Lyceen Ancestral Spear instead of the broken broadsword when skipping the intro as a new character. As well as it being in the chest instead of the broken broadsword during the intro.

@Oondiv can you give me a list of your mods? So far I've tried to reproduce your issue with no luck.

@jarf8pie Yep, that's kind of the way that i made it. I'm not sure why anyone would subscribe to the Lyceen race mod and then not play as a Lyceen. If you do not wish to play as a Lyceen and not being given the broken protectorate sword at the start of the game is a problem for you than i suggest unsubscribing from the Lyceen race mod.

Anyone who plays as a Lyceen receives the broken protectorate sword in the ship locker by default, so it's a non issue for Lyceen players.

@Oondiv Vadercast might i ask how long you have been subbed to the Draconis Race? i just looked at their bug reports thread and there are ALOT of people complaining about ship upgrades crashing. i'm not sure if it's related or not, but it's not uncommon for race mods to patch files that change things for other races as well. i know ours does. if you can post your log file that would be VERY helpfull. you can find it here,

"C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\storage"

it should be the only normal text file there. it has to be after it crashes or you have to go into the starbound.log.1-5 files, which serve as a backlog.

@iamzid I've only had the mod (or any of these mods) for a few days. It's really my first expedition into Starbound mods, despite the fact I've had the game since early access. Are you sure you want me to post this large log in this thread? It drags on forever and ever.

@Oondiv Vadercast we made a discussion thread for error logs just now, post it there please.

@Oondiv Vadercast well, we looked at the log and found a possible problem and made a change. you may have to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the lyceen race mod. it's very strange because we never had any problems on our side so it's hard to know if anything was actually fixed.
