Can you make an updated variant of this to overwrite cutebound? All of the other mods that did that broke.

Right now Cutebound has a higher priority and if you are install mods through the steam then the priority can't be changed. You can install Cutebound manually for personal use and simply remove avian part from it.

Install it in to Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\mods\
If you don't know where the folder is, open Steam, go to the Library, right-click on Starbound game, Manage, Browse local files.
Mods go in the folder labelled "mods"
delete file
CuteBound\species\avian.species.patch
and folder
CuteBound\humanoid\avian
and in the end, you'll need to un-subscribe to the original version of the mod, otherwise Steam will just re-download it and cause a game-breaking load-error

this will only affect basic avian characters from Cutebound and nothing else
