Updates Discussion (features, art, mechanics, etc)
Coming Next Update (to be completed):
    Current Projects:
    • Buffing the power of Materia Blade while decreasing attack speed. (supposed to be an end game item)
    • Learning more about LUA

    • Creating a mod trailer for the mod page (This is gonna take a long time to do at this rate with me updating stuff)
    • Crop Respawn Animation to increase visual size

    Make Ship Door and Ship Hatch craftable
    Fix Stray Pixels on Hair covering the ear

    Fixing color swap errors in species file. (should auto update without new save)
    or mods that render a portrait of a lucario. (will be making files to ensure old saves do not go bald)

    Could you improve the sounds that the Lucario's make when they take damage. Maybe something like the cry a lucario makes in a pokemon battle when it faints or something. If you are going to do that, maybe try making it a higher pitch for the females too.

    That is something I plan to do but hopefully I can get some sound files from Pokken. Lucario on there is voice acted very well and the sounds are more believable. The sounds you hear now have been in the mod since about 4 years ago in development. I'm not exactly good at audio stuff ^ ^;

    I do plan in the weapons update, planned for the future, to change the aura spheres. The first and second, I want to remove the spinning ball and instead have some aura around the paws. I want to add a wind-up to the animation where it goes from aura covered paws to forming the sphere, before launching that as the projectile. The third and fourth level, I want to re-code into charge guns.

    Upon request, I have pulled some sound files. I'm going to be going through them and hopefully find some new sounds.

    Woah another cool idea I had was for the move chamber. How about adding moves that Lucario can actually learn in the pokemon games such as close combat being fists or something like taht

    like bone rush being a melee bone? that seems pretty cool tbh. :steamsalty:

    Basically you would be wanting a modified version of the dash tech but in item form, except for every dirrection. Although the item would do damage upon contact but would drain your energy incredibly fast.

    Then have the special of that weapon shoot out 3 bones like when you use the item throwing bones. That way it's like the games and is mulithit.

    The sounds have been updated. I used some sounds I pulled from Pokken and edited. Shadow_TSL did the female versions. Sadly though that was the best we could do for the female versions. The files for the lucario sounds when highened in pitch turned metallic so we had to settle with slightly higher pitch and slightly softer sounds for the females.

    Done, the difference can seem minimal but in the matter of fact, the sound should be canonically slightly different.

    If i'm not mistaken, Lucario runs like Naruto. So it would be cool if you could make it like that. I have never seen someone change the running animation so i have no idea if it's even possible.

    Still like the mod though, it's my favorite race mod so keep up the good work!

    Technically changing the running animation to a naruto run is possible..... it would require that you change the arm sprites which would wreck all armor and the running arm poses are sometimes re-used for holding weapons.

    The only way to get that type of run would be for someone to make a Naruto Run mod. The mod would have to include an extra set of sprites on the arm sprite sheets and also have those arms coded to fling backwards when you are running with nothing in your hands/paws/claws/etc
