Great Idea! Excalibur's sword would be a great fit, similar to the swords that got removed before release, I'll add it to the list, I have an idea to make it stand out, and if I can pull it off I'll do more exalted weapons, like Ivara's bow, or Mesa's Regulator pistols.
Y'know, the ones that are possible atleast. Like a modified sword dash for Excalibro's first, Frost's snow glove, Ash's shuriken and teleport/invis, the ones that won't be too complex to add!
Lastly, I suggest making bulletjump be in the tech and be triggered by using shift+jump.. it's simply too tricky doing it with the special attack button.
I was planning to do something like this with Mesa's Peacemaker, make it a a head tech that activates with F. If I can get it to work I'll attempt other warframe abilities too, ideally I want any abilities I add to be unique. I've added some ability ideas I had to the list.
This is similar to my initial plan going into making the mod, except is was crouch / jump like in Warframe. I found that having Bullet Jump as a weapon secondary ability felt more natural to Starbound, as it's similar to the already existing Flip Slash ability.
Also you can't crouch in the air. That too.
