Upsides:

After dealing 250 damage you can taunt to get mini-crits for 10 seconds.
+20 more accuracy

Downsides:

-20% fire rate

Just like a Grordbort weapon.

- 80% damage to buildings.
+ 40% accuracy.
- 20% longer charge-up time.
+ Sets enemies on fire.
+ Infinite Ammo, but must be recharged over time.
Cannot gain ammo from any other source.

The inability to destroy sentries alone is already a downside.
The inability to fire continuously from a dispenser nest is also a downside.

I had two ideas I thought were interesting.

3 Modes:
Standard: 50% damage to buildings, -2 ammo per second while deployed
Charging: +25 ammo per second in this mode while deployed
Sparking: 200% damage to buildings, -8 ammo per second while deployed
All modes:
- When wet, the user takes 1 point of damage for each ammo currently in the gun and ammo is reset to 0

Alternatively:

+ Taunting restores all ammo
- When wet, the user takes 1 point of damage for each ammo currently in the gun and ammo is reset to 0
- 50% primary weapon ammo on wearer

bulets disapear after a certain range when they are fired
+40% slower movement when deployed
adds +50 health to overheal
when ubercharged does +20% damage

Charge up time the 20% longer than minigun. Initial damage is very low (10%), but the damage ramps up the longer you can keep the weapon on target to a maximum 200% if the beam is maintained for 2 or 3 seconds. If the beam loses contact with the enemy, the damage resets to 10%. It would reward heavy players that can actually aim.

- After killing 3 people in one spin, mini-crits for 3 seconds
-20% Health
-10% Damage

Pro heavies can use this minigun for serious damage.
