I'd imagine it'd be one of those weapons that would heat up and deal more damage, the greater the temperature, but will have to cool-down if it gets too hot, meaning you'll have to wait for it to cool down completely before you fire again. It can be one of the most powerful weapons in the game for Heavy but it would also be one of the most risky ones.

This van de Graaff Wrath minigun could act like a Lightning gun from Quake and Doom 2016. good for close to medium ranges, but not good in the water. And I guess bonus against wet players? A bit of a electricity based Huo long Heater?

now we need frost based minigun, maybe with the aoe frost aura like the Heater? And for more classes. Scout would be intersting with this. And maybe if it is done like Bioshock 2's Mp version of winter blast, which just slows you down. And you get damge vulnerability. But I think justt slowing you down in Team fortress 2 and you get frostbite damge would be enough.

This may be odd, but hear me out. This could allow Heavy to gain some mobilety on the feild. It would fire a big laser on use, but would push you backwords... Like alot.... Like unles you are crouching and firing, you are going flying.if you Jump and use it, you can propel yourself into the air, or you could use it to jet yourself into the front lines. However, it can overheat if used too much, and it's not very tactical in combat, as you go flying all over the place.
