Reload anim gets cancelled when switching to another weapon and back. This allows to shoot much faster than expected.

Is it possible to reduce the damage of friendly fire? If players rescue their teammates attacked by special infected with pipe shotgun, outrageous damage will hurt the saved one.

The pipe shotgun is just an error and it doesn't spawn anywhere. Am I missing something?

Whenever I pick up a different secondary weapon when holding one of your custom weapons, the custom weapon is never dropped on the ground and is simply erased instead. Is this an issue on my end or is this a natural limitation?

That sounds like something on your end, I've never seen that happen. They're supposed to drop like any other weapons.

So as much as I love the idea of a homemade shotgun this is easily the most unstable of your custom weapons due to the ability to desync the animation and how you can switch off and back to it to reload it. Is there anyway you could maybe make it so after you fire it you're locked into the reload animation and maybe disable shoving during its reload? That could work as a temporary fix anyways if it's at all possible that is.

Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to do. Those issues are the biggest reason I've been hesitant to making more convensional weapons. I've been looking for solutions for them for a long time now, but haven't found any solution.

You cannot throw a gasoline can or a explosive without shooting.
I have no idea why this happens,but it does.

Unfortunately it's a limitation with how the weapon is implemented. If I remeber right there is no way of directly detecting when the player fires, so all that is possible is to detect if the fire button is held in, which it will always be when you throw a gascan.
