The fact that it takes about 23-25 shots before exploding makes this weapon broken.

You can detect if the player is using a mounted minigun and/or machinegun with:
NetProps.GetPropInt(client, "m_usingMountedWeapon")

You can also detect if it's a mounted machinegun using another netprop:
NetProps.GetPropInt(client, "m_usingMountedGun")

They're melee weapons because that's the only way of making new weapons that doesn't replace other ones.

No, it shouldn't affect them. The spawnpoints for melee weapons and regular guns are completely separate.

prob just me being unlucky but i haven't seen a single magnum ever since i installed this mod, does this thing have a chance to spawn where the magnums usually spawn?

Unfotunately there is nothing I can do about it, since there doesn't seem to be any way of detecting if you are on a mounted gun from scripts.

found a bug when in a mounted gun or holding a gas can and or propane tank it shoots when you press the shoot trigger op with mounted weapons not so much with the propane tanks and fuel tanks

Bug found
If you are helding a propane tank or a jerry can, if you press your fire button while holding them instead of tossing it it immediately shoots the gun.

Do you think you could make a weapon script (primary and secondary) that allows for reloads to be interrupted, along with ammo counts to be modified? This is just because I am sick and tired of seeing the Deagle and pistols over and over again since they have no counterparts, and would like to see some revolvers or such be put in their place or as another addition. If it's not possible to spawn it, make sure you are on a locally hosted game on a supported campaign, and that there are no other mods that change the mission files, like melee weapon unlockers.

Yeah, I haven't really been able to find a way to fix that without desyncing the animation. It's just a side effect with how it's implemented.

I think the damage of friendly fire is way too serious especially when saving pounced, jockeyed or charged teammates. Is it possible to remove the friendly fire at least when rescuing your teammate with it?

Not really. It's just a limitation of how the custom weapons are implemented. They're basically just melee weapons with extra stuff tacked on.
