Have all the DLC (this may or may not be required). Click data set when hosting a game, scroll down to the The Lord of The Rings mod. Data set can be found at the top in single player. And when hosting a multiplayer game, you have the option of picking the original game, expansions or any data set you downloaded.

Click The Lord of The Rings mod, host the game, and you're done.

I've just tried to lauch this mod, it makes AOE force close every time I try this. Is there anything I've missed?

Why do my houses not change?

You require all of the DLCs to play this mod. It literally says on the page that it's required. When you hit subscribe you should also be getting a popup from Steam for an additional file you have to download.

As for houses not changing, a lot of structures look the same until you advance in age.

If you have all of the data sets, there should be a dropdown section in the menu when setting up the game called "data sets" Data mods for AoE are loaded up from here. You need to choose the mod's data set whenever you want to run it. Also make sure you have the language mod. That's needed to give the units the correct names.

Checked the language in options??? I never had to do anything with the language in options. All I had to do was subscribe to this: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1275067997

hey i did everything right but whenever i try to play the scenerio it just says MISSiNG files..

Usually the first thing i do is go to map editor to see if the mod actually works

hello i still got the same problem ; i download averything but the mod don't work : but i have the nation when party creating, but nothing change in game. i can't "enoble" the mod but i set in in priority first? Please help.
